Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress 42-3167, known as 'Ye Olde Pub', is a restored American heavy bomber from World War II. It has a glass nose for bombardier visibility, four Wright R-1820-97 radial engines, and a wingspan of 103 feet 9 inches. Designed for high-altitude strategic bombing, it carries multiple .50 caliber machine guns for defense. The aircraft is flown in airshows to demonstrate historical operations and formation flying techniques. Its metal airframe and tail turret are preserved as part of the Erickson collection.
