The North American AT‑16 Harvard IIB (registration G‑CIUW, serial 14‑245, alternate serial FE511) is a variant of the North American T‑6 advanced trainer aircraft, built under licence by Noorduyn Aviation. It is a single‑engine, two‑seat, low‑wing monoplane with tandem cockpits and retractable tailwheel undercarriage, powered by a Pratt & Whitney R‑1340 Wasp radial engine rated around 550‑600 hp. Harvard aircraft were used for advanced pilot training by the Royal Air Force under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and continue to fly as warbirds in display events such as UK Warbirds 2025.
