A Nord 1002 Pingouin II is a four‑seat, single‑engine liaison, communications and trainer aircraft originally developed in France after World War II from the Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun design. The type with registration G‑ETME and military code F8‑CA, serial number 274 is shown at UK Warbirds 2025 in authentic German Air Force Luftwaffe markings. Nord Pingouin production totalled 286 aircraft. The Pingouin II variant is powered by a Renault 6Q‑10 six‑cylinder inverted inline engine producing around 240 hp, has low‑wing cantilever monoplane configuration, tailwheel landing gear, enclosed cabin for one pilot and three passengers, automatic leading edge slats, and is used for liaison and basic training missions by military and civil operators.
