The Channel Islands Air Search and Rescue unit presented a BN2B Islander aircraft, registration N70AS, during air-to-air demonstrations at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford, England. The aircraft demonstrated search and rescue capabilities, short takeoff and landing performance, formation flying, pilot coordination, avionics systems, and operational readiness. The display highlighted the Islander's versatility, mission support, and role in emergency response operations.
