The Hawker Sea Fury FB11, registration G-CBEL, serial 37539, is shown inverted and banking in an air-to-air view at UK Warbirds 2023. This British naval fighter, powered by a Bristol Centaurus 18-cylinder radial engine producing 2,480 hp, features a low-wing monoplane design, bubble canopy, tailhook for carrier operations, and large four-blade propeller. Painted in Royal Navy display colors, it represents one of the fastest piston-engine fighters used by the Royal Navy during the late 1940s and early 1950s.
