The MC‑130J variant of the C‑130 Hercules uses four Rolls‑Royce AE 2100D3 turboprops with six‑blade propellers, advanced avionics and defensive systems for special operations air mobility tasks including low‑level ingress and egress, aerial resupply and refuelling support.
