A U.S. Air Force Bell-Boeing CV-22B Osprey is photographed air-to-air while operating during USAFE Days 2023. The CV-22B is a tiltrotor military aircraft designed to combine helicopter-like vertical lift with airplane-like speed and range. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce AE 1107C turboshaft engines driving rotating proprotors. The aircraft is used by U.S. Air Forces in Europe for special operations support, long-range insertion, and resupply training missions.
